Update on construction progress of CreaSolv® PVC prototype recycling plant

We are very happy to give an update about the completion of the external constructions of the CreaSolv® PVC prototype recycling plant. Finally the facade, doors and gates were finished and the construction scaffolding could be removed (cf. News article ‘Construction of the CreaSolv® PVC prototype recycling plant has started‘ for further technical details). Also the installation of the air conditioning on the roof of the building has taken place. The official handover is soon to be expected.

The building has a height of 7,8 m and has a base area of 12,3 x 6,3 m. Thus it offers enough space for a prototype plant. Over half the length of the hall (i.e. approximately 12 x 3 m), a gallery level will be drawn in at a height of 3 m so that the higher units can be better accessed from above.

Inside the building, the crane and the scaffolding for the gallery has already been built-in and preparations for further indoor installations are made. This includes the peripherals, the control cabinet, control room, electrical lines and the HMI (Human Machine Interface). These installations are the next steps, before the equipment and appliances are placed in the building and the plant is set up.

Despite some delays due to COVID-19, we are confident to start with the pre-commissioning beginning of 2022.
