The Circular Flooring project presented its final results at the Representation of the Free State of Bavaria to the EU in Brussels. After five years of research, the consortium demonstrated a complete recycling loop for post-consumer PVC flooring: from collection and shredding over the CreaSolv® process to new floor coverings.
- 05-04-2024Large-scale pilot plant opened at Fraunhofer IVV
The Circular Flooring demonstration plant in Freising, Germany, has been officially opened. The plant implements the whole CreaSolv® process chain and processes post-consumer PVC flooring waste at technical scale.

At the world’s leading trade fair for architecture, materials and systems in Munich, the Circular Flooring consortium presented its recycling approach to the construction and flooring industry. Visitors could inspect demonstrator floor coverings produced from recycled PVC.
